High School

All students receive a college preparatory course of study. SESO strives to maintain a caring learning community that integrates rigorous academic expectations with a persistent concern for the personal growth of students. All parents and students receive eight (8) academic status reports during the year. Of these four (4) are progress reports sent in mid-quarter and four (4) are grade reports sent at the end of each of the four marking periods. Parent and teacher conference days are scheduled once each semester in addition to conferences scheduled by parent or teacher initiative.

High School Curriculum

Twenty-five (25) credits are required for graduation and are distributed as follows:

• English (4)
• Spanish (4): May include Spanish as a Second Language
• History (4): WH1, USH, WH2, PRH
• Mathematics (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus)
• Science (3): Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry

As part of the Computer Courses we offer Web Design and Computer Programming at the newly remodeled High School Computer Resource Center. Remedial programs are being offered for the advancement of Math areas and English proficiency.
