All students receive a college preparatory course of study. SESO strives to maintain a caring learning community that integrates rigorous academic expectations with a persistent concern for the personal growth of students. High school elective courses include: Physics, Art, Evolution, Psychology, French, Italian, Music, Band, Latin Percussion, Creative Writing, Film, Financial Planning and Technology classes, among others. Also, our program includes a Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum at all levels (PK-12th), that provides students with opportunities to develop, learn and practice social emotional skills in an educational setting. Twenty five (25) academic credits and 120 community service hours are required for graduation.
Average scores on the PSAT, SAT and in the PAA are among the highest scores and above the national average. Our graduates have been recognized numerous National Merit and National Hispanics Scholars, as well as Presidential Scholars.
Our seniors regularly earn early admission to top tier universities based on their grade point average (gpa), and their standardized test scores.
